New Costco Membership!

My husband and I are resolving to get out of debt this year so we can buy a house.  This is leading me to look into new ways to save money.  I decided that I was going to get a Costco membership.  I really wasn't sure how much money a family of 2 could save at Costco, but it looks very promising!

Here is what I bought and how it breaks down. I figured out the per day cost of the different L&G options.

I got 29 lean servings = $38.67
11 days of green servings = $11.87
Salsa & Taco Seasoning for Taco Salad for over 50 salads = $9.68

I spent $60.22 and figure I will spend about $25 or so on the remaining green portions for the month. When I am in a financial pinch, I eat 1 can of green beans for my 3 green servings for the day. A 5 oz hamburger patty grilled with some seasoning salt mixed with a can of green beans is actually pretty tasty, cheap & easy.
